Suncrafted and Tribal Fire have partnered together to launch the first licensed Native American cannabis product brand on the East Coast.
In a recent press release, the Holistic Health Group, Inc., which is operating as Suncrafted, announced that the company has entered into a partnership with Tribal Fire, which is a local cannabis delivery service located in Cape Cod, Massachusetts (1).
According to the press release, Tribal Fire customers are able to order products directly from the company’s menu (1). In the future, the company hopes to be able to sell products in dispensaries in the Bay State.
Suncrafted was chosen for the partnership, the press release mentioned, because of their “dedication to the sustainable production of cannabis, an industry often criticized for wasteful and energy intensive practices,” (1). The company utilizes natural methods, such as using local cranberries. This method is appreciated by the Wampanoag Tribe due to their “deep respect for the earth and its annual celebration of the cranberry harvest,” (1).
This collaboration allows us to offer a unique product,” said John Marcellino, Founder of Tribal Fire (1). “That not only benefits our customers but also honors the ancient traditions and values of the Wampanoag people.”
The press release mentioned that (1), “The development of this product line was inspired by the spiritual connection shared by the leaders of both companies to the land of the Wampanoag Tribe, its vast forests, and abundant coastline. Their shared bond led them to create a brand rooted in spirituality and honoring the ancient philosophies of the Wampanoag Tribe.”
Key aspects of the partnership include (1):
- Sustainable Production: Suncrafted's commitment to environmentally friendly practices sets it apart in the cannabis industry.
- Community Support: Purchasing these products directly supports members of the Wampanoag Tribe.
- Cultural Reverence: The brand honors the traditions and values of the Wampanoag people.
- Product Availability: Currently available through Tribal Fire delivery, with plans for wider distribution.
According to the press release, benefits of this partnership include (1):
- Provides economic opportunities for the Wampanoag Tribe.
- Offers consumers a way to support sustainable and ethical cannabis production.
- Celebrates the cultural heritage of the Wampanoag people.
- Introduces a unique and spiritually inspired brand to the cannabis market.
Cannabis Industry Continues to Grow with Cannabis Business Accelerator
In a November 2025 press release, North Star Cannabis Consulting announced that 22 entrepreneurs have been selected to join Minnesota’s first cannabis business accelerator. This initiative will join 15 founding members with seven newly selected participants (2). According to the press release, this new program offers the opportunity for “collaborative support infrastructure for craft cannabis entrepreneurs as Minnesota's adult-use market reaches a critical growth phase,” (2).
Minnesota’s cannabis business accelerator program was founded by former securities and cannabis attorney, Jen Randolph Reise, and was inspired to create the program “after watching talented entrepreneurs struggle with regulatory complexity while lacking resources to compete with multi-state operators,” (2). Through the accelerator program, members will be able to access peer support, accountability systems, vetted vendor networks, and regulatory guidance at a lower price from traditional legal consulting (2).
The main focus of the accelerator is to help mold the state’s cannabis “vision” through “community-centered, locally-owned businesses rather than corporate, multi-state operators (MSOs) entering Minnesota,” (2).
