Event Overview:

In this webinar, Dr. Crosswhite will address some aspects of the fundamental chemistry and physics involved in electronic aerosolization of inhalable products (such as nicotine or cannabis related vape devices) and what that means for analytical testing.

Key Learning Objectives

  • What physics and chemistry are occurring in the e-liquid formulation during aerosolization
  • What can go wrong during aerosolization
  • How can aerosol that representative of a user-generated aerosol be generated and collected

Who Should Attend

  • Scientists

Dr. Mark Crosswhite, founder of ConsulticX Sciences, holds a Ph.D. and master’s degree in Analytical Chemistry and has collaborated extensively and published with the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) on food safety topics, gaining insight on both state and federal regulations as well as ISO 17025 guidelines. Mark has worked at both Altria and JUUL Labs, supporting pre-market tobacco approval (PMTA) applications for both companies’ harm reduced vapor products. He has supported regulatory submissions, external communications, regulatory communications (including legislative communications). Additionally, during his time as the New Products Science Integrator at JUUL Labs, he brought a deep understanding of product development analysis to the submission strategy, development, and execution.
