Cannabis Science and Technology®, a multimedia platform that focuses on educating the legal cannabis industry about the science and technology of analytical testing, quality control, extraction, and cultivation, recently won third place in the “Best Interview or Profile of Someone in Your Industry” category during the 41st Annual SIPAwards virtual ceremony on June 2.

The Cannabis Science and Technology® entry titled “Dr. Sue Sisley: Advocating for Medical Cannabis Research, Patients, and Reform” highlights the pioneering research in the U.S. medical cannabis industry that Dr. Sue Sisley has been conducting, as well as her fight for quality cannabis samples to conduct her clinical trials. Sisley’s research has focused on veterans, professional athletes, post-traumatic stress disorder, pain management, and opioid addiction.
Since 1978, the SIPAwards have recognized excellence in editorial, marketing and product success in the specialized information industry. This year, the awards ceremony celebrated niche publishing excellence throughout the industry with 27 categories.
