In a recent press release, Blimburn Seeds, one of the largest distributors in Europe (1) for cannabis seeds and clones, disclosed the opening of their new United States (US) e-commerce website. The distributor is bringing the growth of their operations with the newly expanded New York City (NYC) warehouse and another warehouse facility located in California. With these facilities, the company aims to provide their customers with product delivery within 2-5 days (1).
Blimburn Seeds began their business in Barcelona, Spain in 2002 (1). Over the last 20 years, the company has now expanded their operations into the US. With this expansion, Blimburn Seeds products will now offer US commercial cultivators and home-growers another option to purchase their seeds (1).
“We’re excited to launch this new website alongside the announcement of our new California operations and the expansion of our NYC warehouse to bring Blimburn’s legacy of quality and innovation directly to our U.S. customers,” Sergio Martinez, CEO of Blimburn Seeds commented (1). “This is more than just an expanded distribution center; it’s our commitment to meeting the needs of American growers with premium genetics, fast delivery, and guaranteed satisfaction. We’re proud to bring the full Blimburn experience to the U.S., supporting both experienced cultivators and newcomers to home-growing.”
In the press release, it delves into e-commerce’s product offerings which will allow US customers to purchase seeds with genetics that are best suited for their area’s growing conditions or for their own preferences (1). The hope with expanding their operations into the US is to hopefully inspire new cannabis cultivators to grow their own plants (1), “Whether for personal wellness, sustainable gardening, or commercial cultivation.” Further cannabis cultivation will help benefit the industry and move it forward.
