A new product package from SepSolve Analytical allows analysts to streamline the detection of psychoactive and aroma-active cannabinoids and terpenoids in complex cannabis extracts. The package comprises a flow-modulated GC×GC system for unparalleled separation capacity, with simultaneous detection by FID (for robust quantitation) and TOF-MS (for analyte speciation).

To aid characterization of challenging compounds, Tandem Ionisation® is used to simultaneously generate hard and soft EI mass spectra, providing additional information that aids structural elucidation and enhances confidence in the identification of isomers.
