A dispensary in San Francisco, CA, joined with nearly two dozen cannabis brands, will donate proceeds starting on March 6 to support humanitarian aid in Ukraine.
Starting Sunday, March 6, 2022, MediThrive, joined with nearly two dozen other cannabis brands, will donate proceeds to Sunflower of Peace, an organization providing medical and humanitarian aid to paramedics and doctors to help those affected by the violence in Ukraine. On March 6, MediThrive, operated by Ukrainian Americans, plans to donate 100% of its in-person and online sales, then 10% of sales until March 13.
MediThrive CEO Misha Breyburg and his colleagues immigrated from Odessa, Ukraine in the 1970s. “I know we are all hurting from this crisis, but I never expected such overwhelming support to help a community and country that I hold close to my heart,” Breyburg said, recounting his experience speaking with participating cannabis brands.
